COVID-19 Emergency Rental and Mortgage Assistance Program

Applications will become available online and in person starting September 27, 2021. Completed applications can be submitted through email at housingdepartment@cityofmontebello.com. For in person, you can submit applications at City Hall – Canopy location (see image below) Monday – Thursday 9am – 4:30pm. You can also submit Friday to Sunday 8am to 5pm at 1700 Victoria Ave.

The Montebello COVID-19 Rental and Mortgage Assistance Program provides temporary support grants to income-eligible Montebello households impacted during the pandemic through job loss, furlough or reduction in hours or pay.

Grants are payments made by the City on behalf of income-eligible households to maintain housing and/or reduce payment delinquency in areas due to hardship. A maximum total grant of $(amount pending) is available per household for a time period not to exceed three-months.

Applications will become available online on this webpage and in person at City Hall. For in person pickup please go to the northside entrance under the canopy. See image below.
